Coastline Advocacy

Australia is the nation with the greatest amount of coastline, yet most of these important natural areas are under threat. Climate change is the largest of these threats, with rising oceans threatening coastal areas.

Point Danger serves as a critical point for public interaction and advocacy as it demonstrates how truly important our coastlines are in a readily observable manner. Gannets, Shearwaters, a plethora of shorebirds, seals, dolphins, whales and so much more can be found in and around the coast of Point Danger. Without protected coastal areas, we would not be able to enjoy these spectacular animals as readily.

A visit to Point Danger provides visitors with a refreshing view, one where wildlife may still be abundant and the pleasure of experiencing such events in person.
